I want to thank each of you for your tireless dedication, continued support and passion for our cause. You are the heart of our organization and it is thanks to you that we achieve our objectives. We are delighted to announce that our move in January 2023 was a great success.

This change allowed us to welcome more newcomers and better meet their needs while benefiting from more space and light. This new premises offers a more welcoming environment adapted to our mission. The generosity of our members and partners was essential to making this move possible and we are deeply grateful! Now we have the capacity to expand our impact and deliver our services even more effectively. It is thanks to your continued support that we have been able to reach this important milestone in our development. We warmly invite you to visit our new location and discover how it strengthens our commitment to our community. Together, we will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Inflation is a challenge we face as a non-profit organization over time costs increase whether for supplies, services or salaries however I want to remind you that our resilience and our ability to adapt are our most valuable assets to overcome the challenges of inflation we have taken several strategic measures first of all we have reviewed our budget and our expenses in a regular and rigorous manner this has allowed us to better manage our resources and take informed decisions on how to effectively lease our funds plus we have intensified our fundraising efforts by developing new campaigns seeking partnerships and exploring diverse funding sources this has helped us maintain our ability to serve our mission despite increasing costs.

Finally, we have encouraged innovation within our organization. We sought more efficient ways to deliver our services, minimize waste and maximize the impact of every dollar spent.

 

I am convinced that, thanks to our collective commitment and our capacity to adapt, we consider achieving

our mission despite the challenges of inflation. Together we are stronger, and together we can endure overcoming any obstacles that stand in our way. I sincerely hope that The Work of the Samaritans

can survive for many more years despite present and future pitfalls. We are a vital service to the community. We are proud of the help we provide week after week to our low-income families, to newcomers, to our underprivileged, to our students, to our single-parent families and to our seniors.
